once in a while I feel like downing some veggies :)
once in a while I feel like downing some veggies :) the place IS vegetarian! being on the complete and opposite side of the food chain, I do wonder there once in a while for a veggie soup or something digestable... The place is run by somewhat cool, underground types, who obviously been to India, Thailand and possibly Nepal. A relatively inexpensive and rare place for Russia. But if you don't like it in the the end, one of my favorite Italian places, is RIGHT across the street :) Enjoy!
Vegetarian and unique
Very nice place with special atmosphere. People as always smile, speak, eat, but they are very happy - that is the difference with other places.
Superb vegetarian food and ambience
Stumbled onto this place after viewing Peter's Summer Palace and the Siege and Defense Museum. So enjoyed ourselves mid-afternoon that first day that we went back for dinner the next day AND the next!
I am not a vegetarian, but I got hung up on their top-notch borsch and amazing arugula salad. My companions branched out into the pasta and Indian food parts of the menu, and were similarly ga-ga. Full bar and a good wine selection (including New Zealand, Australian, and U.S. labels), delicious teas.
The staff is pleasant, educated and efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire package. ![]()
